The Housing Solutions Council is a citizen-led council of community leaders working to support housing opportunities for members of our workforce through action, education, advocacy, and facilitating partnerships.
The Housing Solutions Council (originally the Housing Solutions Coalition) was founded by local residents Elaine Andersen and Madeleine Bozone Greenwood to address the need for housing that is attainable for all members of the workforce in Martin and surrounding counties.
Early meetings took place beginning in September of 2017 with local citizens, business and community leaders. The outcomes affirmed the need for something to be done to both advocate for and develop housing for members of our workforce.
Together, with our community, we will advocate for and collaborate to develop quality housing solutions to complement and enhance our local neighborhoods. We will create and support innovative housing solutions that members of our workforce will be proud to call home.
